That's about the only thing I miss about Central Illinois

Ah... yes... the storms! It was awesome to stand in by the outdoor break area door and watch a storm roll. Smelling the rain before it started to reach our area. That's nice! But I miss Madison soooo much! I miss not breathing burnt soybeans in the morning!

But, school is going well. I did my first machine facial today. But I didn't really use the machine. I'll be able to work on clients next Wednesday evening! YAY! I got my extractor, two plastic makeup spatulas, two mask brushes... oh... that's it. Next week, I'll be getting my make up kit! YAY! But I really like it. I'm looking forward to opening my salon. Even though it probably won't be for another 5 or 10 years. But I'm having fun daydreaming! I've been looking at different catalogs and websites. I'm hoping to go to a trade show in Chicago in June. Maybe, I can convince my teacher to go for extra hours.

My friend Paul invited a bunch of people to the Icehouse on Saturday night. It sounds like fun but I don't know. I've not done the club scene in such a long time. I don't know.... don't know... maybe I can convince Lisa into going with me. So, who knows. It's supposed to be really cool and up scale-ish. Tight security and it's by invite only. So, I feel special. Maybe I'll go for a drink. I should have birthday money. Or maybe I can convince Paul to buy me a drink!
