Sea Salt... the other white meat.

Well, I got a mouse from my mommy tonight. She got a new computer so she gave me her old mouse. Fresh! I'm so very bored. I wish someone would get on a messenger. DO IT NOW!

I had training with someone else tonight. It really sucks because they just blew whatever I learned for 2 weeks out the water. I hate training with different people. They taught me different ways of doing stuff. It sucked. But it was a good night because she pretty much let me do it on my own tonight. I liked that.

So, that's all I got because I am too bored to type. I wish Ouija was on so that we could do an HOQ. Sigh...

There's a lot of stuff I should post right now. One of the important things is that I have decided to change the settings back to anyone commenting. Yeah spammers suck. I'll just delete the retards that spam on my shit. It's alright. I was even thinking about moving my blog over to Livejournal.com. It was my first blogging site. I had never had problems with it and people could post up on it without having an account. But I don't want too many accounts. But if it does get out of hand, you can be sure that I'm send ya'll an email to my Livejournal journal.

I started working in the ER last night. It was crazy but the night went by soooooo fast! I couldn't believe it. My feet hurt so bad. So, I'm going to have buy more comfortable shoes for the nights that I'll be working back in the ER. I was even wearing my tennis shoes and I still had aching feet. Chris was kind enough to rub my feet when I got home. I worked from 2:30 to 11:00 pm last night and tonight I'll be working from 1:30 to 10:00 pm. Tonight is going to be boring because I'll be up in registration. It's slow on evenings. Can't wait!

When I got home last night, I got some news. Our computer mouse isn't working. It sucks trying to navigate around the internet without one. We can't play games or nothing. It really sucks. So, we'll have to buy a new one. I just don't know how it broke. It sucks.

Today is my grandpa's 79th birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I guess nobody has anything planned for him. Which sucks cuz I think this happens every year. We try to plan something for him but it doesn't turn out as planned.

On September 18th, a couple of girls from school and I are going to Alexandria, IN to tour a campus of a massage therapy school. Amy had went to school there and she said it was an excellent school. Nancy, Danee and I will hopefully be going next fall. We can go to school on Saturday and Sunday. The school puts us up in a bed and breakfast for $15 a night. I hope the other girls will be attending because I'd hate to make that commute alone!! But I'll do it if I fall in love with this school! It's going to be a lot of fun!!

Sorry all!

There's idiots spamming my blog. So, I have to change the comments to registered users only. It's not like I get comments from my friends anyways. Fuckin' spammers!

Congrats Erin and Chad!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comOne of my very good friends from Wisconsin got married to her long time sweetheart. Biggie and I had the pleasure of going to Wisconsin for this joyous occasion. We had so much fun. The wedding was beautiful. It was a full on Catholic Mass Ceremony. I was skurd at first. I didn't know how long it was going to be. But it wasn't long at all. There was 480 guests that were packed in a church that could only hold 200. The ceremony took place at 1:30 and we were late for it.

When we walked up Erin was waiting outside the church with her bridesmaids. She was so beautiful but nervous stiff! We said "Hi." and then Chris and I went into the cathedral. We were late so guess where we got to sit.... on people's laps! I swear I was straight up on this guy's lap and Biggie's rib was being poked by a little table on his other side. The good thing about sitting in the back is that I got to get up and take pics in the middle of the aisle. Although, I missed THE kiss. I was pretty upset about that. My mom's camera isn't fast enough and her zoom sucks too. That's why some of my pictures are crappy.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThe ceremony didn't take too long like I said. I waited outside for a little bit for Biggie to come out. I had snuck out and got a picture of the new Mr. and Mrs. as they walked down the aisle. I was a vase for a moment. I held Erin's bouquet while she was hugging people on their way out. I was looking around and saw Ben's car. So, I started looking around in the car. He was there! I went up to him and gave him a big ole hug. Kelly was there too and I gave her a big ole hug! It was so awesome to see them. Kelly had moved in with Ben a month or two ago. Ben had also landed him a sweet ass job and he's making MUCHO deneiro! I saw Jen too! And I gave her a big ole hug. The reception wasn't until 5:30. So, Jen invited us over to a bar to kill some time. It was great! We caught up on things. YAY!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThe reception was a lot of fun. We had Jelly Bellies for our favors. There was an awesome dinner catered in with pork and roast beef and salad and rolls. They came around and asked if we wanted milk, tea or water. There was a small trailer in the front with kegs of beer and fancy root beer. YUUMMMM!!! The root beer was awesome. There was an open bar with mixed drinks. Everything was free.. the dinner, the drinks, the jelly beans! Kelly taught me how to polka and waltz. People had to sing love songs to them for them to kiss. It was hilarious especially when people started getting tipsy! It was alot of fun! I am so glad I went! Biggie also promised me a dance or two but it was getting late and we unfortunately had to leave this all. He didn't want to dance to any fast songs or polka with me. I don't know why! Everyone else was doing the polka and have a good ole time!!

We left for Illinois and we didn't get home until 3:00 am! I was soooo exhausted! So we went straight to bed. I was supposed to be at work this morning at 6:00 but I was feeling like crap. And I didn't even have anything to drink. But I was in the bathroom having the time of my life! LOL!

It was really sad that we went all the way up to Wisconsin and we couldn't see Andrew and Michelle. We just didn't have enough time! I miss them alot too. I hope to see them soon! Well, I'm going to leave you all with random pictures of the wedding. And while you veiw them, play "Time of my Life" from Dirty Dancing in your head. It's awesome! Hope you enjoy!

On the Job...

Wow! I haven't woken up at 5:30 for a long ass time. That is way too early. I am not used to it! I was hoping that they would have donuts and juice. Most places like that do have free breakfast when you have to wake up that early in the morning. Of course I got lost and I had to be annoying and ring the bell. It sucked. I don't like to be annoying. So one of the HR ladies told me where to go and I still got lost. She finally was walking down to the orientation and I just followed her.

We got into this tiny room and there was only two other people. I was like wow... there's not very many people. And no donuts were in sight. So, she explained benefits that I would not be getting because I am a PRN. What's a PRN? It's someone who is called to fill in for vacations or illnesses. So, I don't get benefits but I get a higher pay rate because of that fact. Plus, a shift differential if 50% of my shift is after 3. Which sounds like it will be. So, YAY for me! Mo money... mo problems!

After she explained the benies, she walked us down to the Forum where our actual orientation was being held. Guess what! FREE DONUTS AND JUICE! It was so yummy. The donuts were delicious. I had two and a OJ and a Apple Juice. My tummy was doing the happy dance! The happy dance... the amazing happy dance! The orientation was the same ole same ole. Except we had an opening prayer. I was kind of shocked because of the diverseness today. I was surprise someone wasn't outraged by this! I was ok with it. It was just weird. Then it was complete with cheesy videos about pension and customer service.

Afterwards, we had lunch with our supervisors. I could have anything that I wanted. I got a Guest Pass Meal Card. So I could get salad, main course, drinks, desserts. ANYTHING! But I was with my supervisor so I didn't want to be a pig. I had stuffed pasta shells, garlic bread, a side salad and some Sierra Mist. YUM!! We sat down and talk about awkward. We would mainly stare at our plates or out the window. Did some small talk about my daughter and all that. But wow! What do you talk to total stangers about... no less your supervisors! Where your actions or the things that you say will be judged and all that. Creepy experience.

I was going to work after the orientation. But I showed up wearing jeans. Ok, so what do you think it mean when we can wear "street clothes"? I thought jeans were acceptable. Oh well, I'll be working tomorrow. That's ok. I was tired today anyways.

It was a good day all in all. I am very glad to be back in the workforce. I didn't think I'd miss it. But it's nice to be making some money. YAY for me! WOOT!

Congratulations, Paul!!

My friend Paul's girlfriend had their beautiful baby girl Friday night at around 11:00 p.m. She's so pretty!! CONGRATS DADDY!

Last night the Schmogel family headed out to the Blue Mound Fall Festival. Fall fest? Yes indeed... a fall fest in the middle of the bleeding SUMMER! It was very hot at first. We had a fried chicken dinner which was good. But I wouldn't have gotten in it if I would've known there were other tantilizing tasties on the premises. I thought that the fried chicken dinner was it. Until I saw people walking around with Walking Tacos (Meat and toppings dumped in a fun sized Frito-Lay sack.) and J mentioned something about corn dogs. I'll know for next year.

We went over to play Bingo after dinner. It was 25 cents for 2 cards. The cheapest bingo game I've ever played. But of course, the give out prizes and a couple bucks. Movie rentals and such. I didn't win anything but I didn't care. It was only 25 cents. Then the clouds started rolling in! A severe storm was headed our way and J didn't get to ride any rides yet. I wanted a funnel cake before I left too!! So I walked around with Mom.

She bought me a pretty lavendar bracelet with a lavendar dragonfly on it. I'm not into dragonflies but this one was really pretty. Then we headed over the other way to get my funnel cake. YAY! I was so excited. There were so many food vendors for a tiny little fest! They had everything! I'll definetly remember that next time! After we ate the funnel cake and played more Bingo people were getting skurd of the dark skies and started to leave. We were just getting started. I wish I would've gotten pictures of the clouds to show Paul. He appreciates weather alot!

We went to the kiddie rides but Simone was too little. That made us a little sad. Then it start raining! Big fat cold drops! It felt so good after a hot day. Mom and J rode some rides. At the end of the night, Chris felt bad that Simone couldn't ride anything. I suggested that he win something for her. We went over to the carnie games. I picked out the duck because it said that everyone wins something. He tried to get Simone to pick up the duck but no dice. She was staring at the man behind the counter. She was scared of him. So, Chris pick out the duck and he won a big prize! We got her a little tookie tookie bird. Chris was happy and Simone was happy. She loves her little Toucan!

We got soaked last night but I had a lot of fun! It's been a long time since I've been to one of those things! Even though it incorrectly named, The Blue Mound Fall Festival was a BLAST!

Game Review

I forgot to put a game review on my last post. So here goes!

Name: Donkey Kong Jungle Beats

Platform: GameCube

I don't normally do game reviews. That's usually my bro Andrew's job. A game review for me is means I talk about how much I like it and stuff. So... let me start!

I like this game alot. My aunt has a GameCube and my mom and her love Donkey Kong. They used to play DK Country back in the days of the SNES. So, they decided to try DK Jungle Beats. I was the first one to actually try it. Which is a good thing because I was able to teach my Aunt some things about the controls. They don't have Bongos for it so I had to figure it out with the game controller. The instructions don't have clear instructions on using the game controller. They really want you to buy the bongos! I finally was able to figure it out in a couple levels. It's ALOT of fun. Enough fun to buy me a GameCube and the bongos and the game.

This game is nice because it lets you get a feel of the controls with the "Opening Ceremony" level. You get to run around and clap and all that without losing energy. Like I said before, they want you to really buy the bongos. I'm a hands on person so I didn't really read the booklet to see if they did put in instructions for the game controllers. When I was first playing it I couldn't get him to run. He was just walking everywhere. It was very slow going. And then I figured it all out. I was able to get him to run! I really like the cinematics in this game too. It's fun when you get to whale on an enemy. PUNCH PUNCH JAB! At the end of the levels you get to grab extra "beats" (bananas). That's a lot of fun too!

The bosses were more challenging when you start getting to higher levels. Which is standard in most games. The fights were alot of fun. I liked the big bird one where you had to headbutt this black ball. I got pretty fast at it. I almost died on the last boss I fought. So, I'm pretty sure that it's only going to get tougher! I only was able to unlock the Apple level. I've not played that one yet. I hope to get out to my Aunt's house and play some more. This game is diffently fun and challenging at the same time. I like that! Even though I'll probably get frustrated at it and stop playing it for awhile. LOL! But that's all in the biz.

Overall Rating - A- for now... maybe higher if I get the bongos. It's just not too easy with the game controller.

So there you have it! I hope Andrew approves of my review. It's kinna Jr. Highish but like I said. I don't do game reviews. I just had to comment on this game. It was a lot of fun!

Can you demonstrate a good poof for me?

I love 50 First Dates!! It's just too cute! I laugh everytime I see it! Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore ALWAYS make an awesome team. There are people who don't like Adam Sandler. And I just don't know why! He's hilarious. He's not that off the wall. He does a pretty good job at serious roles too. Spanglish was awesome! Wrong but awesome!

Today, I go for my 10 week check up. I'll have that update on The Baby Factory later on today. Their going to do another ultrasound. Hopefully not up the "chatkie" as one girl at school calls it. Although the pictures are clearer when they get it from the angle.

It has been confirmed. Psycho from school is pregnant. She brought in the ultrasound. Chris told me that I should've looked to see her name. I was going to. I forgot to though. I glanced up at the doctor's name and it was who she said it was. I dunno. She's freaky! There's another girl at school that is trying to get pregnant. I have to email her a fertility calendar. I feel real bad about the people that have to try but I get accidentally pregnant.

Countdown to Erin's wedding - 12 days.

My boobs hurt...

One of the many joys of pregnancy. They really do hurt. Chris thinks I'm lying so that he can't touch them. I can't even touch them. I can't wait until they start squirting milk in the shower. YAY!

I had a very pleasant surprise today. I got a call from my best friend. She wanted to know if Simone and I wanted to go to the park. YAY! I've not spoke with her for a long time. I was happy to her from her and especially to do something with her. But I convinced her to go to the mall. At first it was to get a pretzel. I LOVE THEM THINGS! But then I just ate so I opted for ice cream for desert. I was very excited that we had a Hot Topic in our po dunk mall. But when I brought it up she didn't seem that interested to visit it. So, I didn't press. It kinna looked out of place anyways. Like they had bitches from American Eagle or some shit working there. After the ice cream, we went to Kohl's. At first, I wanted to buy nail polish for my toes. But the selection looked kinna janky. I saw this pedicure set I wanted. But alas, I didn't have the money so Lisa bought for me. YAY! I'm gonna have to do some spectacular for her. She buys me and Simone stuff all the time. With what little money I had I got an eye kit. It had little orange pads for the eyes and a cooling mask. I can't wait to use it.

So, tonight, I'm going to give myself a foot bath and sit back and relax my eyes. It's going to be AWESOME! YAY!

Jobs...

I went to school today and a cleaned.... and cleaned and cleaned! I did 2 eyebrow designs but other than that I was busting my ass doing that shit. I was sweating. But I finally was able to be okay with the fact that clients are coming into that room. A girl that's not in our department switched around the room so now everything is backwards. It kinna sucks. I don't like it. I have to suck in anytime I want get back to my seat. But whatever. I was pissed about the salt mess Ms. Number One Student left on the floor. It seems like everyone has to pick up her messes. She's so inconsiderate. 1 1/2 more weeks. YAY!!

My sister told me to come in today at the hospital she works at and fill out an application. The job is a fill in registrar which what I did in Madison. It should be ok. I really hate that I have to get a job but Chris's job is giving me no choice. BLECH! I really want to get my schooling done and over with. Maybe I won't even get the job.

I emailed the clinic I used to work for in Madison. They do employ estheticians. I was kinna excited. I really liked working for Dean. That would just be awesome!! They don't have any openings right now. But we're not talking about moving up to Wisconsin for awhile. Maybe 2 more years down here. I've got to go to Massage Therapy school still. I'm just really excited about everything.

In two weeks we'll be going up to WI. My friend Erin is getting married and I am NOT missing this!! I love her so much and I want to be there on one of her most important days! I'm so happy for her! YAY ERIN!!!

Update on The Baby Factory.

I'm Tired....

I didn't go to school last night. I was sooooo sick. I couldn't get out of bed. I couldn't even eat. I called in about 5:15 and then I went to bed. Woke up about 10 or 11. I don't remember. I woke up to eat and I don't remember the time. Then I went back to bed and slept until 8 am. I'm still tired. Maybe because I slept sooo much. Bleh. I feel better today.

Erin updated her blog! YAY! So, now I got to hear about all of her exciting news about the wedding and such. I would like to hear more about her new place. It's exciting! 17 more days till her wedding. Mom is letting us use her car to go up there. We wanted to go up and see Andrew and Michelle while we were in the great state of WI. But we don't have enough money. It's sad. I miss everyone so very much.

Wisconsin... we'd like to move back there again someday. In my last post, I said something along the lines that there was no hope for us to get back there. Maybe there is. Maybe we just have to plan it out better. We just have to think about it. People do it all the time. They uproot their families far from their families. They can do it. We can do it!
